Beginnings Fade
I can see how that feeling of beginnings, of being en route to somewhere, of possibility, will begin to fade as I grow older. And I'll have this feeling of waking up, when I think to myself "This is it, right now. This is how it looks; this is how it feels. The path towards it is living it."

So, I've been told I'm smart. It's not given me much return so far, with the exception of words. At some point, very recently, words stopped being enough. It looks like I've become a "grown up" in the last remaining sense. It all drowning out the light under which anything I've done or loved with real passion ever made any sense.
